About Our Templates

All templates are quick loading and browser friendly. They have been designed to be viewed at the screen resolution most commonly in use by computers today.

Will I have to download to receive the template?
You do not have to download anything to use one of our templates, as the template will be E-mailed to you as a notepad file. There are many compatibility issues with downloads plus they increase your risk of contamination by a virus.

What do I need to use one of your templates?
You need a text editor (most PCs come equipped with notepad), and an image host.

I'm new to using auction templates. How do they work?
An auction template is like a mini-website in that it is made up of HTML code. What you see on the screen when you view a template is your browser's rendition of this code. Look at the template as having two distinct formats, what you see on the screen, and what is in the HTML code.

To use your template, you will modify the text, image, and links portions of the HTML code. It's really not difficult! It's all a matter of copying the right information and pasting it into the right place. This is why the HTML code is embedded with step-by-step instructions, so you will know what to do and where to do it every step of the way!

How often can I use the template?
Once you buy a template, it is yours to use as long and as many times as you wish. Feel free to use it in any of your auctions. It is not, however, to be re-sold; it is for your individual use only.

I don't see the no-right-click feature on your templates.
Creative Consulting does not offer no-right-click JavaScripts or colored scroll bars. They are not compatible with all browsers, and can negatively effect the loading and viewing of your site.

How much support can I expect?
We offer unlimited tech support on all my templates. We get our best (and repeat) customers by providing excellent techincial support, including PHONE SUPPORT.

Adding Pictures
You can add as many pictures as you wish, without paying eBay's picture fee. The eBay picture fee is basically for them to serve as your image host. Once you have your own host, you don't have to pay their fee. All templates are coded and commented with many slots for pictures, so you can have as many as you like, wherever you like!
Image Hosting
To make using the templates as convenient as possible for our customers, we host the graphics that come with the templates. However, in order to include your own photos, you will need an image host. (Note that you cannot use pictures straight from your computer. YOU will be able to view these picture, but because they are private [specific to your computer] no one else will be able to view them. This is why you need a public image host. )

If you contact your ISP for image hosting, make sure and ask if the image host will be public, not just for your viewing or for those who have your ISP.

We recommend Photobucket. We've heard good things about them, and they are FREE. Once you have your images hosted, you will be able to have as many photos in your auction at no charge!

Ease of Use
Our templates are designed to be extremely easy to use. In fact, we have yet to find someone who could not figure out how to use one! If you can copy and paste, you can do it, too!

The step-by-step illustrated instructions we provide guide you through the process. Plus the template itself is has instructional comments embedded within the code itself.

Although we do offer unlimited technical support via e-mail, sometimes it is necessary to give support by phone. Once you buy one of our templates, you may feel free to contact us at your own expense.

TURBO LISTER

All templates work with Turbo Lister and any listing service that accepts HTML (such as Spare Dollar). You simply copy the HTML code and paste it into the "Enter your Description" section. Make sure you have the "Use HTML" tab selected.
