Booker Thayer Lincoln, Duke of Joliet

Appearence

A big, powerfully built man, Lincoln has closely cropped, graying hair and a look that can positively radiate menace, though usually he is an affable man.

Background

The son of a Washington fisherman, Admiral Lincoln followed the sea from childhood. After joining the Royal navy, he gravitated toward the Special forces units. He has developed the reputation of a loose cannon, who tends to cause havoc wherever it goes. Fortuantely, His most infamous misadventure was his team's inadvertent killing of Field Marshal Roger McClintock and General Samuel Duncan, during a firefight in an infiltration attack by Islamic Terminators in 2042. He was absolved of any wrongdoing in the incident, but he has earned the lasting emnity of a faction within the Royal Guard.

He is an intelligent and ruthless man, with a reputation for getting things done at any cost. He has a reputation for not suffering fools gladly. King Patrick uses him as his special troubleshooter for any emergency and it is clear that the king has absolute trust in the man.

He is currrently married to Italian actress Bettina Longoria. His first wife, Patricia Stubby, was killed by Islamic assassins in 2042.

• Promoted to Lieutenant Commander in 2039.
• Promoted to Commander in 2041.
• Promoted to Captain in 2042.
• Given command of the Royal Navy Intellegence's Islamic Peoples' Desk in 2042.
• Given command of the Lakes naval District in 2044. Commanded Operation Double Eagle, causing the collapse of the central Islamic Government.
• Awarded the title of Duke of Joliet in recognition of his success in Operation Double Eagle in 2044.
• Promoted to Vice Admiral and awarded the Victoria Cross in late 2044.
• Given ccommand of the Joliet Military District in late 2044.
• Given command of the Southern Ohio Military Command in early 2045.
• Given the Ministry of Internal Security in late 2045.
• Given command of both Internal and External Security in December 2045.
