The son of an ARCO oil company exec who hailed from Oklahoma, Tyler's family fled the Soviet invasion, eventually settling in Seldovia, Alaska . His parents became commercial fishermen, living a near subsistence lifestyle. Tyler grew up to be a sailor, eventually joining the newly recreated Royal Navy in 2006 at Whittier, where he learned the techniques of machining. In 2007, Earles transferred to the Royal Navy's Technical Services in Portland. After his discharge in 2010 he entered the University of Portland, earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 and started Earle Engineering later that year in Seward, Alaska Province. In 2024, he ran for Parliament for the Monarchist Party and has been an MP ever since. He was selected as Minister of Heavy Industries in September of 2044.
