French court hands life sentence to Tunisian national for Nice church attack

The perpetrator of a deadly knife attack in France’s southern city of Nice was sentenced on Wednesday to life in prison without parole by a Paris court. Tunisian national Brahim Aouissaoui stabbed and killed three people in an attack on Nice’s Basilica of Notre-Dame in 2020.
